Maxima Managed Services is looking for an analyst to join to join our existing 24/7 Service Management team based in Chelmsford. The role will be the proactive monitoring and management of our customers Servers and Networks Worldwide.
The successful candidate will be dynamic, proactive, able to work as part of the team or alone. Capable of communicating faults and resolution information to customers, peers and senior management.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The day-to-day operations of customers systems including monitoring troubleshooting and serving as an escalation point for the Service Desk. Controlling and communicating the progress of high priority incidents to customers and support teams. Providing advice and documentation for support teams on best practice, known errors. The day to day maintenance of our customers servers and Networks.
Essential qualifications and knowledge:
- Self starter / Team player
- Willingness to learn
- Good people skills (client facing)
- Be able to communicate clearly by telephone and email.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
- Experience with Windows 2003 and Citrix Presentation server.
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows 2003 Active Directory.
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows 2003 file services.
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows printing in an enterprise environment.
- A working knowledge of Terminal Services.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2003.
Desirable:
- A working knowledge of TCP IP connectivity within the LAN and WAN Environments including DHCP and DNS.
- An understanding of ITIL Service Delivery.
- A working knowledge of previous windows technologies including NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and previous Desk Top environments including Windows XP.
- Exposure to Windows Server 2008 and Exchange 2007.
- Working knowledge of common hardware used in server desktop and thin client environments.

Business Development Executive, MAXcel Division

Background
The MAXcel division exists to develop and deliver a series of solutions to our clients around:
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Business Intelligence (BI)
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Corporate Performance Management (CPM)
- Document Management Solutions (DMS)
- Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
The clients Maxima currently support in this market are Enterprise (Construction, Distribution, Manufacturing & Services organisations) and larger SMEs. Maxima's credentials in this area are first class, based on acquisitions of leading solution providers in the ERP, BI, CRM, CPM and DMS space; plus the development of our own IPR solution based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
The division goes to market with a consultative sales approach, fulfilling client's requirements in the given areas using industry-leading technology from Microsoft. Our clients value the close relationships we build with them.
The role is part of a successful team and as such will bring the skills and experience from similar sales experience in order to be productive quickly. They will be joining a fast paced, fast growing business unit with ambitions of high growth over the next financial year. The candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

3 years minimum track record in selling software and consultancy services and solutions in one or more parts of the MAXcel Portfolio (ERP, BI, CRM, CPM, DMS and ECM).
- Demonstrable experience in delivering average order values of £100k - £500k
- Sales performance in excess of £750k Gross Margin per annum
- Experience of fast close from meeting to proposal to close
- Experience in writing and presenting winning proposals
- Success driven
- Project / consultancy sales
- Sound knowledge of selling IT solutions
- Solution sales to Line of Business
- A sales knowledge of specific sectors (i.e. Manufacturing, Construction, Distributions & Services)

Responsibilities
Sales
- Pipeline management, opportunity management, a focus on key deals, as well as key account planning are all core day-to-day activities that the Business Development Executive will excel at.
- Forecast management and accuracy will be a core discipline, without becoming the objective in itself.
- Provide a regular report of sales performance, including key measures such as Key Client Meetings, Pipeline and Forecast.
- To understand the current business objectives and needs of the customers.
- Contribute to marketing plans based on feedback from the clients and partners.
- Identify new opportunities to grow the pipeline in existing accounts and new prospects
- Participate in regular sales meetings
- Understand and articulate value propositions in front of our clients, new prospects and partners alike.
- Articulate and differentiate the different service delivery models in the market, including on-shore, off-shore and near-shore models.
- Maintain intelligence on all Key Accounts and Key Partners
- Create demand generation plan
Marketing & Business Development
- Engaging with Partners is a core activity and the Business Development Executive will have a proven track record of influencing tier one partners.
- The influence of suppliers, both product and service is also core, and the Business Development Executive will engage in negotiations with suppliers.
- Build and maintain a close working relationship with the Telesales and Marketing teams to ensure successful new business.
Client Satisfaction & Service Delivery
The nature of the services provided requires a tight working relationship with the delivery team so technical support will be available throughout the candidate's career with Maxima. The candidate will be working within a close-knit team of professionals highly experienced in selling services of this nature. Ongoing support will be provided at managerial and peer level.

The role is part of a successful team and as such will bring the skills and experience from similar sales experience in order to be productive quickly. They will be joining a fast paced, fast growing business unit with ambitions of high growth over the next financial year. The candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- 3 years minimum track record in selling annual managed services or infrastructure solutions
- Demonstrable experience in delivering average order values of £50k - £500k

We need to expand our AX operational team, to satisfy increased demand. We will be looking to employ an implementation (ERP) consultant to work with the Axapta / Dynamics AX application. Specific experience with this product is desirable for this role, however, candidates with implementation experience with other tier 1 / 2 products will be considered for cross-training.
